Ajman’s transport network recorded more than 6,668,009 trips during the first half of 2026, reflecting the role of the transport network in supporting mobility within the Emirate and providing diverse transport options for customers.
The indicators included 6,604,115 taxi trips, 61,827 trips by public transport buses, and 2,067 trips by the Abra water ferry service during the first half of the year.
Engineer Sami Ali Al Jallaf, Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Authority, affirmed that these indicators reflect the integration of transport services in the Emirate and their role in meeting the needs of various segments of the community by providing safe, reliable, and diverse transport services.
He noted that the Authority continues to monitor and develop the performance of transport services in a manner that keeps pace with customers’ needs, contributes to enhancing operational efficiency, improves the mobility experience, and supports the Authority’s efforts towards a more integrated and sustainable transport network.
The Ajman Transport Authority affirms its commitment to continuing the development of public transport, taxi services, and maritime transport, contributing to facilitating mobility and enhancing the quality of life in the Emirate of Ajman.
