Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Acting Director-General of the Ajman Chamber, announced that the emirate’s steel and metal sector reached 190 factories in 2025. The industry saw a 28% surge in new factory memberships, bringing the total sector-related memberships at the Chamber to 745—a 5% annual growth.

The announcement coincided with Al Romaithi Steel Industries launching its first commercial export shipment to the GCC. The event was attended by Abdullah Abdulmohsen Al Nuaimi of the Ajman Chamber and Dr. Adel Al Romaithi, the factory’s Founder and CEO.

Al Janahi emphasized that the metal industry is a cornerstone of Ajman’s industrial growth, supporting infrastructure and supply chains through sustainable, high-tech manufacturing.

Dr. Adel Al Romaithi highlighted that the facility produces rebar, alloys, and pipes. He noted that their strategy focuses on boosting local production and utilizing advanced technology to expand into regional and global markets via new distribution hubs.
