Under the Patronage of the Crown Prince: Ajman Hosts 5th Edition of Ahad Wa Wa’ad Forum

Under the patronage and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, the fifth edition of the "Ahad Wa Wa’ad" (Covenant and Promise) Forum will kick off next Tuesday in the Emirate of Ajman. The event will witness the active participation of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sandooq Al Watan. This forum is part of Ajman’s proactive engagement in the national and community initiative which was launched to embody the will of broad segments of Emirati society in expressing the highest meanings of patriotism, loyalty, allegiance, and gratitude to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nuaimi under the theme "A Covenant of Allegiance and a Promise of Loyalty."

The forum will be attended by a number of Sheikhs, local dignitaries, academics, artists, intellectuals, and representatives from various segments of the local community. The program features a documentary film highlighting the initiative, its objectives, core principles, and community vision, alongside the latest milestones achieved in reaching out to different societal segments. Following the documentary, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan will deliver the keynote address to the attendees.

Subsequently, His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi will lead a prominent group of twenty-five public figures representing UAE society in Ajman, comprising both citizens and residents, to sign the "Ahad Wa Wa’ad" document on the main stage. He will be accompanied during the signing ceremony by Sheikh Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, and Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi. Following the physical signing ceremony, the digital platform will be officially opened for all attendees and participants to record their signatures.

The fifth edition of the forum aims to introduce the local community in Ajman to the initiative, showcasing it as an inclusive national and social platform that reflects the spirit of community cohesion intrinsic to the UAE. The initiative, which originally launched from the capital, Abu Dhabi, invites everyone to participate via open digital voting as a voluntary, civilized expression that serves as a testament to national unity and alignment behind the wise leadership. Furthermore, this edition emphasizes the national and humanitarian dimensions of the initiative, reinforcing the values of loyalty and national pride while instilling concepts of social responsibility and collective action to ensure a brighter future for generations to come.

The "Ahad Wa Wa’ad" national community initiative has achieved remarkable results that exceeded expectations by capturing the collective positive sentiments of the UAE public toward the nation and its leader. The Ajman forum stands as one of the most significant events accompanying the initiative, bringing together societal, intellectual, cultural, and academic leaders alongside heads of local entities, families, school pupils, and university students.

His Excellency Yasser Al Gergawi, Director-General of Sandooq Al Watan, stated that the initiative driven by diverse societal groups expresses a collective message of gratitude to UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He emphasized that it underscores the community’s commitment to aligning behind its leadership and working as one team to cement the UAE’s position as a global model of development, tolerance, and coexistence.

Al Gergawi added that the initiative transcends symbolic expression to serve as a societal pact that translates values of loyalty into daily action, reinforcing the concept of national partnership between the leadership and society on a journey built on trust, hard work, and achievement. He explained that the initiative relies on voluntary signatures from all segments of society without exception, constituting a collective declaration of allegiance.
