Ajman Police Confirms Readiness of Its Teams to Secure 54th Union Day Celebrations
The Ajman Police General Command has completed its comprehensive preparations to secure the 54th Union Day celebrations and accompanying events during the Union Day holiday. This is part of its plans aimed at enhancing security and safety and providing a safe celebratory environment for community members and visitors.
Colonel Hisham Abdullah Abu Shihab, Director of the Operations Department, confirmed the readiness of the work teams across various police departments and units to execute field and operational tasks with full efficiency.
The Traffic and Patrols Department has prepared an integrated traffic plan, which includes deploying 116 traffic patrols and “Aman” (Safety) patrols during the Union Day holiday. This is to ensure smooth traffic flow during the celebrations by regulating movement on vital roads and setting up necessary diversions to prevent congestion and facilitate the public’s movement to event locations. Traffic violations and behaviors contrary to traffic rules will also be monitored during the Union Day period.
The Director of the Operations Department called upon drivers and the general public to adhere to traffic laws and avoid committing any behavioral or traffic violations. He emphasized that police patrols and personnel will be intensively present to monitor negative behaviors and traffic violations, ensuring the highest levels of safety for everyone during the celebration period.
