The Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Centre for Holy Quran Service launched the “Iqra” initiative to distribute copies of the Holy Quran in the Chinese language to Muslims at the Chinese Islamic Cultural Centre in Dubai during the blessed month of Ramadan, in a step aimed at supporting non-Arabic-speaking Muslims and strengthening their connection with the Book of Allah Almighty.

This initiative comes within the Centre’s efforts to disseminate the Book of Allah Almighty and facilitate its accessibility to various segments of society, particularly Muslim communities among non-Arabic speakers, contributing to enabling them to read the Holy Quran and understand its meanings in their own languages.

The initiative witnessed the distribution of a number of copies of the Holy Quran translated into the Chinese language to Muslim visitors of the Centre, who expressed their appreciation for this initiative which assists them in reciting the Holy Quran and reflecting upon its meanings, especially during the month of Ramadan, which witnesses great enthusiasm for Quran recitation.

Hussein Mohammed Al Hammadi, Executive Director of the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Centre for Holy Quran Service, stated that the “Iqra” initiative comes within the framework of the Centre’s mission to serve the Book of Allah Almighty and disseminate it among various peoples and cultures, noting that providing translated copies of the Quran contributes to bringing the meanings of the Holy Quran closer to non-Arabic-speaking Muslims and strengthening their connection with it through recitation and reflection.

Al Hammadi expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, for his continuous support of the journey of Holy Quran service and his patronage of Quranic initiatives, commending the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, and His Highness’s commitment to supporting programmes and initiatives dedicated to the Book of Allah Almighty.

The Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Centre for Holy Quran Service continues to implement a number of Quranic initiatives and programmes aimed at serving the Book of Allah Almighty and spreading its teachings, enhancing Islamic values and serving various segments of society
