Ajman Transport Authority Records 5,681 Permits During Q1 2026
The Ajman Transport Authority recorded 5,681 permits during the first quarter of 2026, compared to 4,203 permits during the same period in 2025, representing a 35% increase, as part of its ongoing efforts to regulate permit services and develop associated procedures, enhancing operational efficiency and meeting customer needs.
The registered permits covered several categories related to regulating transport activities in the Emirate, including commercial permits, passenger transport permits, truck, machinery and load permits, temporary transport permits for buses, trucks and machinery, hired truck or bus driver permits, delivery service permits, school bus permits, school bus driver permits, school bus supervisor training, and tourism vehicle and limousine permits from outside the Emirate, which reflects the diversity of permit services provided by the Authority to support various transport-related activities.
Engineer Sami Ali Al Jallaf, Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Corporation, affirmed that these statistics reflect the Authority’s commitment to developing permit services and enhancing their efficiency in accordance with best practices, contributing to improving service quality and simplifying procedures.
He noted that the Authority continues to improve its working mechanisms and develop permit issuance procedures, supporting swift completion and enhancing the customer experience, in line with its efforts to deliver more efficient and effective services.
